When the past has to pass, how can what remains be defined?
Unwrapped the nostalgic bits and pieces, his mind turned to her times gone by.
Such humble beginnings and yet, it’s been her cornerstone to success.
Navigating through the ups and downs, she stood out from the crowd.
Weaving inside her life, the most indispensable thread that’s sewn through was - His name.
She passed on to him her fabric of life.
He pulled off for her the very last mission of his journey.
Unhesitating, yet with a human touch.
Living up to HER is a (living) funeral
HER destiny was inked within the times of The Memory of Herbs described by Chan Wai.
All for making a living, she pulled out the threads of love from her life.
Leading the audience all the way through the newly built old Mills,
everything you touch, every cup you raise, every drink you sip,
he evokes you with the taste of her bleak and colorless life.
After all, have we missed out anything in our ‘Living’?
At this (living) funeral, let us mourn over the lost of the past with monologues, dances and cappella singing.
