When Lion Meets Dance Workshop
Daniel Yeung
Contemporary dancers and traditional lion dance practitioners join hands to deconstruct lion dance moves by contemporary choreography, alongside explanations by professional lion dance practitioners. Students experience anew the spirit of the lost Chinese Lion Theatre and understand the language of dance through practice, as they reconnect with the Chinese culture deeply rooted in us all.
